Lori and Danny are Tying the Knot!

 I've been dying to share these pictures with all of you!  (I mean.. I'm writing this before my morning coffee...and that's saying a LOT).  Lori is another one of my beautiful and sweet friends that I'm lucky enough to work with at the hospital as well.  She's such an amazing nurse and friend, and I'm so glad she's in my life!  I remember Lori meeting Danny like it was yesterday.  Our mutual friend, Beth was playing cupid and it definitely worked!  They saw each other's pictures, started chatting, and I honestly feel like the rest was history.  It was that easy!  Talk about being right for each other.  To this day, Lori gets all giddy and smily when she talks about him.  And wait until you see the way he looks at her.   It's like she's all that matters in the world.   It's so awesome to see.

We headed down to gorgeous Marina Bay and it was perfect.  We basically had to whole dock and Marina to ourselves to just walk around and let them be themselves!

I am so so happy you guys found each other.   It was meant to be!  Love you guys!  September will be here before you know it! xoxo

Avery's Pretty in Pink!

I finally want to introduce you to this sweet little princess!  Meet Avery!  She's just so pretty in pink and so adorable I could squeeze her. I met Kasi, Will and their beautiful little love at their home to capture this exciting time in their lives.  Avery was all snuggled up with Mom when I got there, and luckily she didn't mind waking up for her debut shoot!  I mean, seriously... how cute is she??

And of course we included their four legged baby, Winston as well!  Kinda wanted to take him home with me.. not gonna lie!

I'm so happy to have met you guys!  Thanks for your incredible patience waiting to finally see these!  Means the world to me.  I wish you the best of luck to your gorgeous little family on your next adventure!

Right place... right time... a proposal... and photography goosebumps!

A couple months ago, I was shooting an engagement shoot  in the Public Garden for Jill and Mike.   It was a picture perfect winter day in the Gardens.  Honestly not sure that I had ever strolled through it in the winter before this, but man is it gorgeous with snow on the ground and people ice skating on the Frog Pond!  I love this city.

Now....  I was walking back toward Jill and Mike, completely oblivious to what was happening next to me on the bridge.  Off in the distance I see two women with tears in their eyes and iphones up and ready to go!  Look to my right... and there was a beautiful couple face to face.   ::OMG.... Steph get OUT of the way!::   I ran out of the way and quickly started shooting like a mad woman.  I didn't know them at all.... not even a little bit.  But here I was at the right place and right time.   I wanted to capture this moment for them because... lets face it, ladies.   Afterwards its one blissful blur!

Afterwards... I went right up to her mother and sister who were watching from the edge of the bridge to give them my info and said a little prayer that they would remember!  Luckily... a couple days later, the new groom to be contacted me.  I was beyond happy to send them the pictures I got of that beautiful day.   (Now, in an effort to not be too much of a creeper I wasn't able to get any of her expression as he got down on one knee.  But luckily his sister was down below the bridge capture the other angle!  Perfection).

It literally gave me goosebumps watching and was probably the best photography-jump-up-and-down-this-is-why-I-love-this moment yet.  THIS is why I do this.  Real life... as it happens.  Thats the good stuff.  SOO... moral of the story... every girl would die to have pictures of THE moment!  So guys.... think about it :)

Katie, Seth, and their adorable little man, Garrett!

Remember when I introduced you to Katie and Seth here while they waiting for their little babe to arrive??  Well... HE'S here!  (yes... I was wrong.  I was convinced they were having a girl!)  But boy am I glad I was wrong.  Because Garrett is just so adorable and so perfect!  I can't get over his full head of hair.  He's already rocking it!

But I certainly wasn't wrong about how natural Katie and Seth would be as parents.  I showed up to their beautiful home again for Garrett's big shoot and you would never ever know that they just had a baby!  They were both so put together and as gorgeous as ever.  Garrett was snuggled in Mom's arms when I got there, looking so cozy and cute.  And you remember their pup, Sadie??  She was a pro in front of my camera again.  And already looking over Garrett from time to time to make sure he was ok!

Without further ado... meet Garrett!! I can't explain how happy I am for you both!  Here's to a start of many wonderful family memories to come!
