Charlotte Makes Way for Ducklings!

I'm so excited to show you little Miss Charlotte and her parents Lauren and Ryan.   I'm so happy that my good friends Courtney and Kevin surprised them with a gift of pictures for Christmas!  There is nothing like giving the gift of memories to hang on your wall, if you ask me!  So we met in the Public Gardens on a gorgeous morning not too long ago.  Charlotte couldn't wait to go see the ducklings!  Courtney told me how Charlotte worries about the ducks in the wintertime and wants to bring them ear muffs.   Can you stand it?   SO adorable.

Lauren and Ryan were so awesome and we immediately hit it off.  I had a blast just leisurely walking around the Gardens, chatting and capturing Charlotte run and leap and just be sweet and innocent!  It was perfectly how I like to shoot.  Nothing forced and completely casual, stopping here and there to capture life as it happens.

Ok enough of my yapping... here's Charlotte!

When I asked Charlotte which duckling was her favorite, she quickly said "This one!"

"Oh yea??  What's his name?"    ......

"Mine!"

Welp.... can't argue with that!  So adorable.

So then we were off to find some real live ducks!

This one makes me laugh.  I wish I knew what I had said to her.. but she clearly it wasn't very funny.

After we found the ducks, Charlotte was perfectly happy to just run and run and run!

And then she found the pretty Swan Boats!   Look!

I just love the look on Charlottes face in these next few.  Just pure happiness.   LOVE IT.

Christina, Eric and handsome little Nolan!!

I want you to meet handsome little, Nolan!  He is just so adorable and loved the camera.  Christina and I grew up together, but haven't seen each other in yearsssss.    I was so excited when she contacted me to take pictures of her gorgeous family.  We headed to a pretty little park near the Canoe Club.  It was perfect for Nolan to run around and explore, pick dandelions and find the fish!

It's always so great to catch up with old friends and learn about their lives now!  Eric is just so great and immediately felt like I had known him forever too!   I hope you guys love these!  So happy I could do this for you!

Might be my favorite family ever - Jess, Mike, Connor and Jude!

I want you to meet one of my favorite families ever.   Jess and Mike are so laid back and their boys, Connor and Jude are just awesome.  They just are this awesome pair and you can tell that they just love everything about their two handsome boys.  I was seriously so excited when Jess asked me to come photograph their family.   Jess is always the one behind the camera (and really good at it!) and never in front of it with her boys where she should be!  That's why I was so happy to be able to do this for them.   These are memories they will now have forever!

We took a walk around Borderland State Park on a gorgeous Spring day.  Packed with beautiful trees, fun rocks to climb.. and horses!   I hope you love them, you guys!  See you Sunday!

My favorite kind of family picture!

I swear I did not give Connor any direction on this one.  He just hopped up in the tree and struck a pose.   Hilarious and I love it.

Ok... these last couple absolutely KILL me.   And the bottom left picture makes me almost spit out my coffee laughing every time I see it.   So I showed Connor where I wanted him to stand. "Just like this, Connor, k??" Meanwhile, Jess is behind me laughing, "Connor stand up straight, buddy!"  I honestly took about 10 shots before I realize he took it LITERALLY.  Mimicked my every move. Apparently this is how I look when I shoot.  Even down to the one eye looking through the lens.  HILARIOUS.   But Connor, I'm positive you look way cooler than I do!

Tavean and Fernando - A cousin bond that'll melt your heart!

Julisa is yet another one of my a-mazing co-workers and I was lucky enough to photograph her adorable son, Tavean and sweet nephew, Fernando!  It was an absolutely gorgeous spring day, sun shining on Castle Island and a line forming outside the door of Sullivan's! (A sure sign of warm weather).  We took a stroll around the Castle with Tavean's red sports car in tow!  Tavean is just so cute and loveable!  I mean, look at those curls!  I can't handle it.  And Fernando... seriously the sweetest kid ever.  And a total NATURAL in front of the camera.  I have to say, as someone who is also slightly obsessed with my nieces and nephews, I LOVE that Julisa brought Fernando along.   It's just a showing of how truly important family is.
