Maggie and her proud big brothers!

Meet pretty Miss Maggie!   There's nothing sweeter (and yes.. exhausting) than the first few days home with a new baby.  It's like everything is new again and all you want to do is stare at their perfect little face!

I met Amy through our mutual friend, Kate and I'm SOOOO glad she introduced us!  I felt like I had known her and her husband, Ross forever when I spent a few hours at their house capturing their little love.   Thanks for being so welcoming!   And her adorable big brothers are so proud of her!  Lucky little girl will always be protected!

So glad I got to capture this time for you guys!  I hope you will always cherish these!  xo

A day in the life of Lola, Asher and Noah!

Hi!  I want to show you some of my favorite little munchkins... Beautiful Lola and her handsome little brothers Asher and Noah.  I can't believe how fast they are growing, but I love being able to watch them turn into such good people.  Their Mom, Nikkie and I have been friends FOREVER.   Literally... forever.  And Nikkie and her awesome husband Jamie are still part of our EVERY day lives.  I love that.  So much.

I popped over to their house to take a few pictures for Christmas.  But what we captured instead I love SO much more than just pictures for the Christmas card.  Nikkie wanted to document this time in their lives.  Their every day life.  Their kids as they are right now.  So we did just that.  Each one of them did what they love most (as if there was no camera at all)... play in their rooms, read a book... do what every ordinary day life looks like.  I couldn't love this more.

I am constantly striving to do this... I want people to look back at their pictures and remember life as it was.  Not just the holiday times... but the real times.

Tucker and Reese!

With Thanksgiving right around the corner, I've been thinking a lot about what I'm thankful for.   And one of those things is definitely all of the amazing, genuine people that I am so lucky to call friends.  And these two adorable kids' Mom is by far one of them.  Sarah and I have been friends for over 10 years now and I couldn't be more grateful to have her in my life.   She is the person I would go to for any piece of advice, to cheer me on, or the for the kind of laugh that makes your stomach hurt (and nostrils flare!).

AND she has two of the funnest kiddos around.   I remember getting the text that Tucker was on his way!  And look at him now!  So big.  And so funny.   And pretty little Reese??... I can't even.  Both of them are complete hams and I had so much fun capturing their little personalities.  Here they are!  Happy Thanksgiving!

 

Sometimes you just gotta get a little crazy...  We should all take a page out of their book if you ask me!

Little Liam!!

Hi again!  I've been so excited to get to these!!   Remember Heather and her gorgeous baby bump?  Well wait until you see little Liam and his baby blues.  His sweet little smile will make you melt.

  Liam is another one of my Emily's baby bffs.   They are only 10 days apart and it was SO fun going through pregnancy with Heather.   And now we get to watch our little ones develop at the same exact stage.  It's awesome.  If you know Heather and Bill you know that they are just awesome good people.  They are both super fun, smart, caring nurses and they clearly make beautiful babies!
