Andi, Tony, and an adorable baby bump!

Back for more! This journey has been so unbelievably fun so far.  It's so exciting to be starting out this venture and I'm just going to keep on truckin'.  There is nothing better than sitting here at our dining room table, coffee next to me (naturally), country music playing, and sorting through pictures I am proud of.  I feel like you read on so many photographers' sites about how they feel when they pick up a camera, or the feeling of knowing you've just captured a memory in that very second.   You may think that's just something they write, but now I truly know that feeling.  I literally jumped with excitement after a couple of these pictures...   I couldn't wait to get home and look at them!

Most importantly - I am so excited to share these pictures with Andi and Tony!  They are honestly the most adorable (aka ridiculously good looking) couple.  They will be bringing little Evelyn into the world any day now.  Yes any day... every woman would kill to look as good as Andi does at 38 weeks!   They have both said how they never think to bring a camera and take pictures... well I feel so lucky to be able to help them capture this time in their lives.  This is such an exciting moment in time when it is just the two of them and they are anticipating their first baby girl's arrival!  Glad I can help add to the baby book, Andi!

We seriously had a blast and we couldn't have asked for better weather.  And we finished off the day with apps and drinks in JP (well Tony and I had drinks.  We'll make up for it after she's born Andi!)  Thanks guys :)  You rock.  Can't wait to meet Evelyn!

(Warning:  this is going to be a long one... too hard to narrow down!)

She says she's not photogenic..... rrrrright :)

baby bump!

Seriously... could they be any cuter?

Obsessed with the red fence. really.

I know what you're thinking.  models?  nurses?? same thing right?  :p

loooooooove

so then we took a drive down to the arboretum.   gorgeous

you're totally right... not photogenic at all.

Then lastly we took a stroll down the center of JP...  ultrasound in pocket.   This was about 2.5 seconds before the wind blew it out of Tony's pocket and I proceeded to run after it like a maniac.  I saved the day.  Or the ultrasound at least.

They wanted to walk by The Real Deal since they go all the time.  Of course I agreed :)  (Insert shameless plug for my brother's place right here)

Phew.... a million pictures later.  Andi and Tony... hope you love them!!  And I can't wait to meet Evelyn!  Just no more April Fools Jokes to send Tony running for a wheel chair at work!  xoxo

Welcome to the World, Abigail!

March 1st 2012 was an awesome day... for real. We left early that morning to sign our lives away and finally get the keys to our first house (wohooo!).  After popping a bottle of champagne in our empty living room, I told Mike to come by since the sheer excitement would surely send Kristin into labor :)  Turns out, the little Bean was already on her way....  GET OUT! For real?!?   A new niece and house in the first day!  Amazingness (yes..I'm making up words so what).  That night my brother and sister-in-law brought lil Abigail into the world.  They have been absolute naturals since the beginning... amazing parents.  She is one lucky lil lady.

Meet Abby... my perfect little niece :)

Here Goes Nothin'!

This is it... I'm doing it.  A blog.   Ok bear with me.. I have always been "the girl with the camera" since I can remember.  No one brought their camera anywhere I was because I would always have one... back in the days when I'd say, "don't worry... I'll make doubles at one hour photo."  I totally asked for a teal Polaroid camera with a yellow shutter for my birthday (man.. I really wish I knew what happened to that?).  For high school graduation, some people hope for a new car.  I got a video camera.... yea one of those ones that you had to put a mini VHS tape into and pretty much sat on my shoulder.  (I have a stack of those tapes from college....  it's probably a good thing that you can't find a VCR now if you tried).

Anyway... fast forward a lot of years and Reid and I were planning our wedding (sigh.. :))  Finding a photographer was my absolute favorite part of the whole wedding planning process, and after our (fabulous) wedding this past June, I didn't want that part (or any of it for that matter) to end.  So with the help of our amazing wedding photographer, Kat Hanafin, I'm determined to be damn good at this!

So a big thank you to my beautiful, lifelong friend Nikkie and husband Jamie for letting me photograph their adorable children.  Lola is an absolute ham in front of the camera, full of personality and a love for Justin Bieber.  Just love her.   Jamie... just face it.  You're doomed when she's a teenager.  Luckily she'll have a little brother to help fight the boys off.  Lola has been a great big sister to their new addition, Asher.  He is absolutely perfect.  Nik and Jamie... you make beautiful children :)    Can this photo shoot be a yearly tradition??

Be prepared to be bombarded with a million pictures.  I actually think I'm kinda proud of them. And that makes me happy.

Stop it... baby perfection

Kisses... she totally loves him

And he totally adores her back... just look at them.

This one absolutely kills me.  every. time.

Ok Dad... I'm wiped.   Are we done yet?   Oh and sorry for pooping on your uniform...  Sir.

I'm totally in love with this picture.

I can't even.  Seriously??    He just did this... I almost died.

Phew... done.   Back with Mom.  Get me away from this crazy lady.

So fun.   Thanks Nik, Jamie, Lola and Asher (and Lucy).    Love you guys.  xoxo
