I feel like I grew up part of this family.  I know I speak for all of our friends when I say Carol and Charlie were like second parents to all of us.   I've definitely said this before on here, but times spent at their house are some of my favorite childhood memories!   Carol has been one of my biggest supporters of this photography dream of mine and I couldn't be more grateful.  I was so honored to be able to capture these pictures of their beautiful children and grandchildren!

Here are Bri and Adam's beautiful kiddos - Caitlin and Colton.  Could they be cuter?

And you all know Ellie!  She now takes the cake for my most photographed baby!  She's taking a lil snooze until it's her turn!

Kate, Dave and adorable Fiona, the coolest kid on the beach!

Kate and Dave are just awesome, awesome people; the type of people that you just want to be around.  They are the perfect match and compliment each other so well.  Watching them interact as family is so inspiring.  They just get it.  I love that you can tell that they are absolutely infatuated with their little Fiona, and still the love they have for each other is so present in everything they do.   And don't get me started on Fiona!   She might be the coolest 1 year old I know.  I'm not even exaggerating.  So funny.

I was so excited when Kate asked me to do this shoot.   We had it booked months in advance and I've been dyyyying to show you all these pictures!   We had an absolutely gorgeous day down on Duxbury Beach.   (For the record, my heart will always be in the South Shore.)

Kathryn and her baby bump (now baby Jack!)

Good morning!  Meet Kathryn and her beautiful baby bump (who we now know is Jack!)  Kathryn is one of those people that you just instantly feel comfortable around, like you've known them forever.   I love that about her.  Some people just have that calming, trusting vibe and she's got it.  I met Kathryn 4 years ago when I started working in the pediatric cardiac ICU.  Needless to say, where we work is a very stressful (yet amazing) place to work.  Kathryn always stays completely calm and 100% invested in the children.   I have no doubt she is going to be an amazing mother.

One of the things I've loved most about diving in head first with my photography dream has been being able to get to know people in my life even better.  I'm able to be there for the special part of their lives and help them remember how they feel right now.   I talk a lot on here about "freezing memories."  I can't say that enough.  Kathryn and Chris welcomed sweet baby Jack into the world just a few short days after this shoot.   If we had missed the opportunity,  Kathryn would't have these pictures to look back on and see just how beautiful and glowing she was while carrying Jack!    Congrats on your beautiful new family!

Jen and Will are getting hitched!

Jen is one of my absolute best friends.  She is probably the sweetest person I know - not a mean bone in her body.  We met 12 years ago (twelve?!) when we were freshman in college and were roommates for 8 of those 12 years.  We have certainly had some amazing, funny, exciting times.  When she met Will, I remember her having a giddy look in her eyes whenever she talked about him.  They are two of the funnest people to be around.  They always have so much fun wherever they are whether its with friends or just the two of them.  When she came over to tell me that Will had asked her to marry him, I was so ridiculously happy for them.  (That might be an understatement.) They went over to Spectacle Island for a clam bake, where Will completely surprised Jen with THE question.  Just perfect. Less than 2 months from now they will be husband and wife.  It is going to be such a fun wedding.  And I am honored to stand up there with you guys.  Can't wait.  And Will... we are gonna tear up the dance floor with your signature moves.     la;luv]'=  (<--- aaand that was from our new puppy, Bauer trying to jump on my laptop.  Too funny to erase.  He wanted in on the action!  I think it's hilarious that it says 'luv'.  One smart little pup)
