Jack and Morgan- Toddling Twins!

May 7, 2013 Stephanie Cargan

Hi!  Let me start by saying how ridiculously happy I am to be shooting outside again!  Beautiful crisp spring days when everyone busts out from their cabin fever!  I love it.    And I love these two adorable twins that you are about to meet.   Jack and Morgan are (almost) two!  And they couldn't be cuter.  We took a stroll around Castle Island and watched them toddle their way around.. perfectly happy to just run and run and run.  I think growing up with a twin would be so fun.  I mean, there's no two people more connected than that.    And twin boy and girl??  Perfect.

So without further ado... Meet Morgan and Jack!  And their awesome parents Meghan and Brian.  I was amazed at how well they just have it together.  Such a well oiled team making sure their two little ones are safe and happy (even running in opposite directions to catch them!).   You guys are such a beautiful family and so happy to be able to do this for you!    Happy (almost Birthday) Morgan and Jack!

Morgan totally takes the cake for the best "What is that big black box attached to your face, lady?"   Hilarious

"OOOOH a camera... Ok I got this.   Watch me!"

love. love. love.

Look, Ma!  No hands!

Charity and Seth Get Hitched!! Or is it April Fools??

May 1, 2013 Stephanie Cargan

From the second Charity emailed me about her and Seth's secret April Fool's wedding... I was IN!  I seriously think I've laughed out loud to every email she's sent... especially all of the pictures she sent of the two of them in random hilarious costumes so that I knew what I "was getting into!  Can't back out now!"  haaaaah I couldn't wait to meet the two of them.  Thankfully, Charity's best friend Kate sent them my way (little did she know!).  Kate knew nothing of this secret wedding... and you have no idea how hard it was to keep it a secret from her!

Charity and Seth had been together for 12 years... happy as can be.  The contagiously laughing duo planned their secret nuptials on the perfect day - April Fools!  What could be better?   Seeing all of the confused responses to the status change was hilarious.  "Come on... give it up."    "For real??"   "Where's the cake?"

I have never met a more laid back and hilarious couple.... absolutely perfect for each other.   I was so so so happy to be there, laughing behind my camera all day.  You'll see why.

So after 12 years of love, on April 1st, 2013... Charity and Seth tied the knot in front of their loving family. ... Or did they??

Let's do this!

And then the costume trunk appeared... and things REALLY got crazy!

So then we headed out to the jetty to grab a few shots of Charity and Seth.. MARRIED!

They are always having so much fun.   I love it!

See??

Thanks for having me do this for you guys!   Seriously... I think I'm still laughing!

Ami, Neil and big sister Mira!

I have been so excited to get to this post!   Ami contacted me about doing pictures of her beautiful family.  We had been emailing back and forth and what immediately struck me about our conversations was that Ami and Neil wanted to capture their family just as it was.. at this moment.  They were awaiting the arrival of their new little one to make them a family of four!  And they wanted to remember life just like it is now with their adorable little daughter Mira, her sweet grandparents, and their little soon-to-be bundle!  ::sigh::  That's EXACTLY what I want to do.  That's why I love this.  Because life changes so fast (for the better of course!) but it's so important to take a step back and enjoy the little things.   The smiles between family, little giggles, subtle "I love you" glances.  Thats why I do this.

I can't even describe how amazingly welcoming and sweet Neil, Ami and her parents were to me.  I mean, I always am so appreciative of how welcoming people are to me when I'm showing up at their door (sometimes meeting for the first time!)  But I have never felt more welcome than I did this day!  I kinda just wanted to hang out and play with Mira in her little princess room for the rest of the day!  I drove away with a smile, knowing that I was able to accomplish what I had set out to do.  To capture their life as they know and love it.

Mira and Neil have recently welcomed their little baby girl!  Congratulations!  I couldn't be happier for you all!  Mira will be an amazing big sister!

So much love!

BY FAR my favorite kind of family picture!

Tucker and his adorable little smile!

April 11, 2013 Stephanie Cargan

So we have been in our new house for just over a year now.  You'd think we know how to be "homeowners" by now, right?   Nope!  Thankfully, we've called our plumber, Matt at Plumbing Solutions five times (no exaggeration) to install things or keep me from panicing when I thought I burned a hole in our pipes trying to fix a clog ourselves!  Seriously.. I thought our kitchen ceiling was moments from crashing down.  Thankfully... I didn't cause the leak and Matt fixed it no problem.  Now to repaint the ceiling.... add it to the list!   (I won't get into when I had to call because we thought our furnace was broken and it literally just needed water.   But I digress..)

Anyway!  Matt and Chandler were welcoming their new baby in a few short months (after the dreaded ceiling leak!).  He had stumbled upon my business page and asked me to come take some newborn shots of their new little one when he arrived!  I was so happy to come and meet his awesome wife and little man.   Chandler and I instantly hit it off and were honestly planning when we could hang out next (bbq and drinks sooon??).   They are both just natural parents and you would never know that Tucker had just recently come into their lives.  So so happy for them!

And now to meet Tucker!  He is so adorable.  And look at his little smile!  So cute I can't handle it.  Congrats again, you guys!  And Happy One Month Birthday, Tucker!

Umm... Tucker?  You trying to tell me how you feel about all this??  hah!

Ok phew... Just saying hi!

Work the camera, Tucker! Work it!

Taking after Daddy already!
