Meet sweet little Sabrina!

I met up with Danielle for lunch, and she nonchalantly slid her ultrasound picture across the table.  AHHHH!!!  YAYY!!   To say I was excited is an understatement.  We have been through every major life even together and this was the next milestone!

Danielle is an absolutely amazing friend who has given me some of the best advice throughout my life.  She always knows the best thing to say or the best solution to anything. I feel so lucky to have her in my life.  And I'm so happy for her and Dan!  You are going to be amazing parents and Sabrina is one lucky little lady.

Side story -  I somehow managed to lock my 6 week old puppy in the car right after we finished these pictures!  I was in full on panic mode.  Danielle to the rescue.   She carried little Sabrina down the street to her neighbors house who might be able to get the door open for me.  (Now, disclaimer - the air conditioner was on so the pup was fine...  But I was freeeeaking out.  Good thing he's our practice kid!)  After pacing in her driveway for half hour, AAA showed up to save Bauer.  Thanks for keeping me calm, Danielle!  "Day in the life..."

Gorgeous Alicia and baby bump! (aka baby Brooks!)

Alicia might honestly be one of my favorite people.   I don't think there is a mean bone in her body, and I'm not even kidding.  Last year when their wedding had to be relocated THE DAY before the wedding because of that horrendous hurricane, did she do what any  normal bride would do??  Did she panic?   Nope - she kept a smile on her face and knew that it would all work out.  She was still marrying Kurt and that's all that matters.  So even keeled.  So when she broke the news that they were expecting their little one, I was over the moon for them!   So deserving.

She is just oozing with the pregnancy glow here.  Actually I should be writing past tense because just 2 days ago she and Kurt welcomed their son Brooks into the world!  I can't wait to meet him!

Alicia is another one that has been nothing but supportive and excited for me.  Again, I say this every time but I feel so lucky to have the people that I do in my life.  Alicia, you will be an amazing mom.

Pretty Penny!

Meet pretty little Penelope!   I know Penny's lucky parents, Tamara and Patrick through my brother and sister-in-law and they are just awesome people.   I felt like they were my own friends the day we met years ago.  (It's so true that good people surround themselves with good people.  Ya know what I mean??) When I was just literally starting out and only had a handful of pictures to show for it, (and Penny was just a little basketball in mommy's belly) Tamara was so excited to do this shoot!  That meant the world to me!  Feels like forever that I've been dying to little Penny to make her debut!!

 She wasn't the biggest fan of my camera in her adorable little face  at first but she still worked it!  Look at those baby blue eyes.. can you stand it??  So pretty.

"Oh - why hello world!  I'm HERRRRREE!!"

Tamara and Patrick - I'm sorry! I can't help it.  This one KILLS me everytime I see it.     "WHAAAAAT is this lady putting on my head?!?"

Katia, Dave and sweet little Davio!

Davio seriously might be one of the cutest little boys EVER.   I know... I say "cutest ever" a lot on here but I mean COME ON.   Wait til you see him.  His parents, Katia and Dave are just awesome and the three of them (going on 4!) make the most adorable family ever.   I met them at their gorgeous house a couple weeks back and Davio was instantly all smiles and hamming it up for me.  And can I tell you how excited I was to see the coolest , rustic looking barn ever right on their street??

I've been so lucky that all of these amazing people in my life have been just as excited I am to do these shoots.  It's like this instant, comfortable vibe every time.   I love it.  I honestly say "I could do this every day" every time I'm shooting.  This time was obviously no different :)

Anyway, enough of my rant!  Meet handsome little Davio!
