Angela, Jake and their mini-me boys!

Angela is another one of my super awesome co-workers who has been so encouraging and supportive of all of this!  She and Jake have the most adorable, fun boys who are total mini-me's of their Mom and Dad.  It's crazy.  I remember meeting Grant and Jake two years in a row when they came in to surprise Ang at work on Mother's day.  They were so00 proud to be there - it was so nice to see.  When Ang asked me to do a family shoot I couldn't wait!

We went to the Arboretum and just walked around - exactly how I like to shoot.  It was perfect out.  A gorgeous, crisp fall day.  Ahhh.... the beginning of fall.  There's nothing like it...  (umm I'd give my left arm for some apple cider right now, but that's besides the point..)

Little man, Jack!

You all remember beautiful, glowing Kathryn (click here if you missed it!) while she waited for Jack to arrive!  Well...he's here!  And adorable as ever!  He's suchh a little man!

 Ever wonder what a baby is thinking about when we're fussing over them?  Making weird baby talk noises and weirdo faces like a crazy person just to get a little smile.  Well Jack is a man of many expressions - I feel like he can tell you an entire story with a look.  It's so funny.   And he is so calm and happy!  He was perfectly content with me in his face and was just trying to figure it all out.  He even flashed a few smiles my way.  Thanks, buddy!

Remember how I said Kathryn just has this calming way about her?  Well it's 10 fold now.  She is just so calm, cool and collected with Jack and it's awesome.  I'm so happy for you and Chris!  Enjoy every second of it (I know you are!)

Grady, Hayden and Ava!!

I was so excited when Kelley asked me to do these pictures.   It had been ridiculously long since I'd seen them and it was so good to catch up and see their adorable kids.  Kevin is my step-brother and I can remember being kids like it was yesterday.  It just makes me so happy to see him as a Dad.  They are such an adorable family.  I drove down the their house to just capture their life as it is, right at this very second.  That's the stuff I love.  The kids playing in the yard, their dog hanging out on the back deck.  Just real -everyday -chasing after kids - laughing while you do it- kind of day.

Myles makes his debut!

Meet Myles!

I hadn't known his awesome parents before this shoot, but I am SO happy that our mutual friends Kate and Dave got us in touch!  They are just awesome people and made me immediately feel at home.  I am so happy we were able to do this!  Myles knew how excited Mom and Dad were to meet him that he came 3 1/2 weeks early!  And he is pure perfection.  I mean really...  look at this face!

Some people just have a natural instinct around babies, and let me tell you, Leanne and Matt have it.  It's like they had been doing this forever - not just a few days!  And the love they have for this little man just oozes out of them.  It was so nice to watch.  You guys are going to be amazing parents.  He is one lucky little guy!
