Home is where your family is :) Gillon's Grant's and Greer's!

I feel like I grew up part of this family.  I know I speak for all of our friends when I say Carol and Charlie were like second parents to all of us.   I've definitely said this before on here, but times spent at their house are some of my favorite childhood memories!   Carol has been one of my biggest supporters of this photography dream of mine and I couldn't be more grateful.  I was so honored to be able to capture these pictures of their beautiful children and grandchildren!

Here are Bri and Adam's beautiful kiddos - Caitlin and Colton.  Could they be cuter?

And you all know Ellie!  She now takes the cake for my most photographed baby!  She's taking a lil snooze until it's her turn!

So gorgeous, Jess.

Hope you guys love them!!  xoxo

Lil miss Haley and her proud big brother, Jackson!!

ou all remember adorable Jackson and our day at the park??  Well, my dear friends Kate and Mike welcomed his little sister, Haley into the world!!  I am so so happy for them.   It just feels like yesterday that Kate came into work and showed me her hand and her gorgeous new ring.. and of course I screamed!  (ok... after I said "oooh new nail polish??.... that's how non-functional I am before my morning coffee.  Springs hottest color, right?? ).    That was FIVE years ago??  (I can't handle how fast time flies sometimes!)  Kate is just one of those people that makes my stomach and cheeks hurt from laughing after spending 5 minutes with.  I'm so lucky to have her in my life :) Anyway, the last few years have flown and I couldn't be happier for them and their growing, beautiful family.  Love you guys.

Remember this handsome face??

Boy after my own heart!!   I can't even handle it....

So... my photographer side kick is a big brother!

And he loves her :)

Meet pretty Haley!

Hello gorgeous!

Baby yawns get me every time!

Time for more kisses!

Meanwhile... while Haley was finishing up her little shoot,  Jackson was mowing the lawn!  Nice job buddy :)

Emma (and her ridiculously cute little smile) is two!

Oh little Emma...  She is just unbelievably adorable and a TOTAL ham.   Wait until you see.

Kim, Emma and I went out on what feels like the last sunny day in AGES.    (Seriously... enough with the rain all right??!!)  Kim told Emma that we were going for a walk to see all the flowers.  She couldn't wait.   And neither could I.  That's the perfect way I want to shoot.  Just go for a walk, let the kids play... just have it be real.  Nothing forced.  And those are the memories that you want to capture.  Right??   Have you ever heard anyone look at a picture and say   *sighhhh.. "I remember that day.  We forced her to stand next to a giant number 2 in front on a fake backdrop of a fence.   She smiled for the very last picture.. and it was the best day ever!"   Nope.   But I'd like to think that when Kim looks at these pictures years from now, she'll think of a gorgeous sunny day with her bright eyed, excited baby girl.

I'm not kidding that she was all smiles the.. entire... time.

See??   So adorable right??

Smelling all the flowers!

I can't...

I mean... really..

Ok these next two kill me....  Apparently my earring flew out of my ear and I had no clue.  I had no idea what she stopped to pick up.   Emma to the rescue... thanks, Em!

Peak a boo

Quick change... Emma's birthday shirt!

off she goes!

LOVE

I wasn't kidding with the smile

Emma... how old are you??

sometimes you just need a quick bubble break.

and we're outta here!   So much fun.  Kim - you're the best.   Third birthday pictures??

Tucker, Reese and Jackson (and a cupcake date!)

KateDanielleSarah... pretty much one word if you ask me :)   We started out as co-workers but became instant lifelong friends.   We could tell each other what the other had for dinner, or what we were getting our mother-in-law's for Christmas without missing a beat.  Every detail of our lives.  We've been through 4 engagements, 4 weddings, 4 houses, 4 going-back-to-schools, and 3 going on 6 babies (no no.. not me...  You will all meet Kate and Danielle's new babies on here soon enough!)  It's so amazing to watch friends go through each big life event one by one.   They will all tell you they remember the exact day that I came to work and said "ummm.... sooo I met a guy."  Fast forward 8 years and I'm married to that "guy" and couldn't be happier when I think back on all those years  -  I love that they could probably replay them all with me. Sooo...many a'Margarita dates and laugh-until-you-cry (nostril flaring) moments later over the years, our latest date was a picnic at the playground with Kate and Sarah's kiddos.  It was perfect.   I've loved watching them turn into amazing Moms!

Meet Tucker.. he loves the camera

And pretty Reese...

Big brother and lil' sis...   oh the lies and bribes we had to make up to get this picture!  "Come look at the ducks!!  Over here!!  I see one!  Ok now sit... right.. there."  Sarah and I probably sounded like maniacs if anyone was listening!  But I love what we got... they are so sweet.

I can't even...

Meanwhile.... Jackson was loving every second of the playground.   He's about to be a big brother very soon!!!

This is some serious see-saw concentration right there ...

Just look at that smile!!!  I can't handle it... too stickin' cute for words.

"Oh who me??  Sit here and look cute??  No problem."

love love LOVE this one.  So handsome.

Ok you read for this??

It was time to take a break from the slide and have some cupcakes.    I think it's young love over frosting and cupcakes!  Stop it.  So cute.

Look who I found hiding under the picnic table!

Oh to be a kid again...

Deep thought.. pondering what to play on next.  Or maybe how he could manage to get another cupcake?

Love you guys and your adorable kids.  Hope these make you guys smile and freeze this memory :)
